Atakhanova Svetlana

Svetlana Atakhanova was born on May 7, 1961 in Kirghizia. In 1982 she graduated from Moscow state academic art college named after 1905, and in 1989 – from Moscow State Stroganov Academy of Industrial and Applied Arts. She studied under М. М. Bulgakov, U. G. Sedov , А. G. Kurdukov, А. I. Sviridov. Since 1992 the artist has been taking part in various art exhibitions.

Svetlana Atakhanova is a member of the mural and decorative art section of the Moscow Union of Artists and a member of the Russian Union of Artists.

Svetlana Atakhanova ‘s artworks are presented in the collections of the State museum of oriental art in Moscow; North Caucasus branch of the State museum of oriental art in Maikop, Tumen regional museum of fine arts, as well as in private collections both in Russia and abroad.
