Shmeleva Inna

Inna Nikolaevna Shmeleva was born in 1929, graduated from Moscow Pedagogical University. The artist, one of the oldest teachers in the art department of the Correspondence People’s University of the Arts, Inna Nikolaevna brought up a great number of students for more than half a century of teaching experience. I. N. Shmeleva is a member of the “New Reality” New Reality" association under the leadership of Eliy Belyutin since 1958, a member of the Moscow Union of Artists since 1976. A participant in the First Exhibition of Russian Abstract Artists (November 1962) and the famous First Exhibition of Russian Avant-Garde in the Manege (1962), which was "destroyed" by Nikita Khrushchev.

An active participant in the Abramtsevo exhibitions of “New Reality” unresolved by the USSR government (1964 - 1988), as well as exhibitions of Russian abstract artists 1989 - 1994 in London, Budapest, cities of Hungary, Warsaw, Kaliningrad, Moscow (Manege “New Reality”), New York, Boston, International Biennale of easel graphics in Kaliningrad, Frankfurt am Main, Polish Cultural Center (Moscow), at MSTU named after Bauman (2002), the Central Bank of Russia (2002), the Culture Fund of the Russian Federation (2003).
