Apresyan Ruben

Ruben Leonidovich Apresyan was born in Moscow in 1963. For five years since 1983, he studied in the workshop of famous Russian artist Joseph Gurvich. Ruben Apresyan is a member of the Moscow branch of the Union of Artists since 1989. In the 1990s, he periodically lived and worked in Austria. In 1996, the first monographic catalog dedicated to his work was published in Vienna. Since 1984, he participated in more than 50 personal and group art exhibitions in Russia, Austria, and Germany. His works are represented in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow), the State Russian Museum (St. Petersburg), the State Museum of Oriental Art (Moscow), the Tula Museum of Fine Arts (Tula), the Museum of the Congregation of Mkhitarists (Vienna, Austria), the Volksbank collection and the town hall Trossingen (Germany); as well as in private and corporate collections in Russia, Austria, Germany, the USA, South Korea and other countries.
