Benjaminson Erik

Born in 1932

Graphic artist, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Studied at the Moscow Art College in the workshop of V. N. Baksheev (1953 — 1959), and in the All-Russian State University of Cinematography named after S. A. Gerasimov (VGIK) at Yu. Pimenov’s workshop. Participated in exhibitions since 1958. From 1948 to 1953 Erik Benjaminson designed a large number of children's books, took part in the creation of filmstrips, worked in the magazine for children "Murzilka" since 1965. Many illustrations were made together with the artist Boris Pavlovich Kyshtymov (1927 — 2007).
