Danshin Ilya

Ilya Danshin was born in 1958 in Moscow, studied at the children's school of aesthetic education of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, in the art studio of V. I. Kozlov; in 1983 he graduated from the Moscow State Art and Industrial College named after G. S. Stroganov. Danshin is a member of the Moscow Union of Artists, the International Federation of Artists of UNESCO, the Association of Culture L'Anello (Italy, Rome), laureate of the All-Russian Competition named after V. Popkov for the year 2012 in the nomination “Landscape”, a participant in numerous exhibitions in Russia and abroad. By the age of fifty years, the painter had more than sixty exhibitions in Russia, the USA, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark and other countries. The artist’s works are in the funds of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Museum-Estate of V. D. Polenov, the New Jerusalem Historical Archive Museum, the State Art Museum of Barnaul, and in private galleries and collections around the world.
