Filippov Dmitry

Dmitry Filippov was born in 1969 in Moscow, studied at the graphic arts faculty of Moscow State Pedagogical University, having previously graduated from the art school of the Krasnopresnensky district of Moscow, where his father Oleg Fedorovich Filippov taught. Later he taught at this school himself. Until recently, Dmitry Filippov worked in the field of graphic design, but now he has returned to painting. Since the late 1990s he has been engaged in watercolors, created several series ("Gurzuf", "Turkey", "Tunisia", "Torzhok"). Since 2005 he has been actively participating in group exhibitions. Artworks by Dmitry Filippov are represented in private collections in Russia and abroad.
