Kazarin Viktor

Viktor Semenovich Kazarin was born in 1948 in Moscow. In 1971 he graduated from Art and Graphic Department of the Moscow State Pedagogical University. The artist lives and works in Moscow. In 1970 – 1999 Viktor Kazarin had more than 20 personal exhibitions. Since 1976 he is a member of the Moscow Union Of Graphic Artists and participant of the famous exhibitions on Malaya Gruzinskaya street. In 1991 the massive retrospective exhibition of more than 600 artworks by Viktor Kazarin took place in Moscow Manege. After this event Kazarin was called “the father of Russian neo-expressionism” and a new phenomenon in art.

Artworks by Viktor Kazarin are represented in the State Tretyakov Gallery and other Russian museums. More than 1000 paintings decorate galleries and private collections in more than 40 countries.
