Levinson Nora

Nora Mikhailovna Levinson is a Soviet graphic artist, illustrator, postcard artist, a recognized master of watercolor painting. She also worked in various printing techniques. Graduated from the Moscow Art Institute (1940). During the war, she was evacuated to Samarkand, where she created a magnificent series of oriental watercolors. In those same years, she met D. Tegin, a talented painter of the Soviet period, who later became her husband. N. Levinson's works were exhibited at many Russian and foreign exhibitions.
