Dmitry Vasilyevich Murashov / Murashov is a Soviet battle and marine artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Laureate of the Stalin Prize. He graduated from the painting faculty of Moscow VKhUTENIN (workshop of Ilya Mashkov). Participant of the exhibitions "Genesis". In 1933, at the exhibition dedicated to the fifteenth anniversary of the Red Army, he presented the painting "Chefs on maneuvers." He created paintings about the protection of the USSR’s sea borders: “On Guard of the Soviet Arctic” (1956), “On the Sea Watch” (1961), “On the Protection of Sea Borders in the Arctic”, “Barents Sea”. Reproductions of the works by Dmitry Murashov were replicated in the form of postcards.
