Igor Pavlovich Obrosov is an artist and teacher. Full member of the Russian Academy of Arts (1997). People's Artist of the RSFSR (1983). Laureate of the USSR State Prize (1989) and the State Prize of the Russian Federation (2000). He graduated from the Moscow Higher School of Industrial Art (formerly Stroganovskoe). Bright representative of the "severe style." The artist's works are in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, and the Russian Academy of Arts. as well as numerous private collections worldwide.
