Varlamova Natalia

Natalia Varlamova was born in Moscow in 1979. In 2003 she graduated from the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography where she studied at the workshop of the art directors of animated movies led by A.G.Turin and S.M.Sokolova. In 2005 she became a member of the Theater section of the Union of Artists. She participated in various exhibitions and festivals both in Russia and abroad. She has worked as an art director of animated movies: “Dandelion" (200) directed by Anna Solovyova, “Ayu-Dag" (2002) directed by Anna Solovyova; short cartoon “Junkman" (2007) directed by Valeriy Firsov; commercials (backgrounds art director for the commercials of the “SANFOR" and “Petrovna" companies, animation commercial for “ZEPTER" company in 2004); as well as working as an illustrator: illustrations for the book by A.Popov “High Society Hounds", comics for the “Svoy" magazine, comics and illustrations for the articles of the Russian version of the PENTHOUSE magazine.

Natalia Varlamova also has an experience of working as a production director for the feature film “Dedication" (2005) directed by Alexey Loshitsky. She has taken part in many international animated films festivals including: International Animated Films Festival in Suzdal in 2001 and 2003 and International Animated Films Festival “Krok" in 2001 and 2003, Film Festivals in Korolev (dedicated to space) in 2001, in Tambov “Zolotoy Vityaz" in 2003, International Film Festival in Stuttgart in 2003 and may others.
