Vishnyakov Oleg

(1935—2012)

graduated from Moscow State Art Institute named after V. I. Surikov (Petr Pokarzhevsky’s workshop 1955—1961, diploma work with the rector F. A. Modorov). For his academic successes he was awarded the Stalin Prize. From 1960 he worked with the magazines: "Soviet Woman", "Peasant Woman", "Motherland". In 1987 he became a laureate of the State Prize of the Union of Journalists of the USSR for the series of works "The Image of a Contemporary". Taught two years in Moscow State Art Institute named after V. I. Surikov. Member of the Royal Academy of Cambodia.

Artworks by Oleg Vishnyakov are represented in the collection of the State Museum of V. I. Lenin (Moscow), as well as in the museums of Kazan, Ulyanovsk (Russia), Kiev, Lviv (Ukraine), Baku (Azerbaijan); private collections in Russia and abroad.
