Zaitseva Natalia

Natalia Zaitseva was born in 1983 in Tashkent. In 1999 – 2004 studied in Samara Art College named after K. S. Petrov-Vodkin. Later in 2004 – 2010 Natalia Zaitseva studied in Russian Academy of Art, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. S. Glazunov, where she studied under the supervision of M. Shankov, A. Grigoryev, A. Ustiniovich and V. Stein who inspired students with new ideas and helped to choose the right art way.

Despite the fact that artist is young she has her own special art style, she is famous for her unique technique: Zaitseva works with quick and short brushstrokes, crisscross, it brings special atmosphere to her artworks, creating smooth lines and shapes, forcing objects to dissolve in the environment. No matter what does she paints, still life, landscape or a portrait, it's important to the artist to work in close contact with her objects in order to transfer all her feelings and emotions to the viewer.

Since 2007 Natalia Zaitseva has been participating in exhibitions: "20 years of the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture" in Manege (Moscow, 2007), "Youth XXVIII" (Moscow, 2008), "Teacher and Student" in the "Mars" Gallery (Moscow, 2008), Art Exhibition devoted to the 860-th anniversary of Moscow (Moscow - Copenhagen, 2008). In 2009, the artist had personal exhibition in the Gallery "Babylon” in Samara. She took part in such exhibitions as "The Cultural Heritage of Russia" (Moscow - London, 2009), "Gravity of Realism" in the Gallery "Izmaylovo", the Russian Art Exhibition "Young Artists of Russia" in the Central House of Artists (Moscow, 2010), " Russian Artists" in the Manege (Moscow, 2011).

Artwoks by Natalia Zaitseva are represented in Russian Academy of Art, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. S. Glazunov, were exhibited in auction houses: Dorotheum, Drout and Helos. Her artworks are presented in private collections in Russia, Italy, England, Germany and Italy.
