Dear friends! We begin the new art season with the 11-th online auction, which presents rare samples of original and printed graphics, posters, sketches of illustrations for books and animated films (1900 — 1980s), as well as antique and Soviet books.

Among the exclusive lots are famous social posters of the First World War by famous Russian artists Viktor Vasnetsov and Konstantin Korovin from 1914, a movie poster of the Soviet film “Gypsies Are Found Near Heaven” from the International Film Festival in San Sebastian of 1976, rare books in Hebrew 1893 — 1940 years, original sketches and celluloid works for the famous animated films “The Return of the Prodigal Parrot” and “The Last Hunt” by Valentin Karavaev, engravings of the album “Revolutionary Moscow to the Third Congress of the Communist International”, one of the first ceremonial illustrated editions of Soviet Russia, published in a limited edition in 1921 (among them the works by A. A. Deineka, F. D. Falileev, P. Ya. Pavlinov, I. N. Pavlov), posters and movie posters of famous Soviet artists B. Zelensky, P. Alyakrinsky, A. Kokorekin, A. Antonchenko.

Original graphics are represented by the best artists of the gallery E. Reshin, N. Viting, V. Stekolshchikov, B. Bespalko, T. Guseva, E. Rastorguev, I. Mednikova and others. Original mock-ups of covers for children's art books and the children's books of the Soviet period themselves, theatre designs and books of the pre-revolutionary period complement the proposed collection.
